Main Responsibilities: 

  • Obtains market information and identifies industry contacts and appropriate decision-makers in local companies with the goal of making business matches for participating U.S. firms. 
  • Responsible for overall management of sector related trade missions and budget drafting as well as the appropriate tasking of Commercial Assistants.   
  • For certified trade events, ensures appropriate tasking of Commercial Assistant, interns, and contractors, reviews and approves one-on-one meetings and runs the Business Information Office (BIO).   
  • Maintains client records in SalesForce CRM system, meets Written Impact Narratives (WINs), Client Assists, and Commercial Diplomacy targets as assigned annually; and utilizes eMenu to manage events and client services.   
  • Recruits and travels to at least one Trade Event Partnership Program (TEPP) event annually either regional or in the United States.   
  • Prepares weekly highlights inputs, end of show and trip reports as required.
