Job Purpose

- The Assistant Building Services Engineer will support the design, coordination, installation, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services systems. The role provides practical exposure and technical support to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of design drawings, calculations, and specifications for building services systems.

- Support site supervision, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.

- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and coordinate with contractors and consultants.

- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality, and check compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

- Prepare reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.

- Learn and apply industry codes, standards, and sustainable building practices.

Requirements

• With reference to internal design guidelines, work with the internal & external customer to:

1. Generate, update, and revise electrical routing layout based on the netlist or design provided by external customers.
2. Generate test vehicle design and the related PCB design.
3. Prepare design risk assessment report.
