Job description
Due to our expansion, we are looking to hire an engineer to join our team in supporting the smooth operation of robots in a hospital setting and supervise installation of cabling.
The key responsibilities include:
- Ensure continuous monitoring of AMR performance via the dashboard to guarantee smooth operation throughout the hospital.
- Respond promptly to any operational incidents or issues on the ground, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Serve as a key communication point between the project team and ground users, providing regular updates on the status of AMR operations.
- Document any issues or incidents in daily log files to ensure traceability and resolution.
- Work in rotating shifts (6 am - 3 pm or 12 pm - 9 pm), with occasional weekends and public holidays based on shift schedule requirements.
- Receive training on generating error logs using specific software tools.
- Be trained to operate and control AMR fleet tasks through dedicated software.
- Basic troubleshooting of the AMR robots.
- Support structured cabling installations.
- On site supervision and provide guidance to sub contractors.
- Following up with customers on updates to project status.

Responsibilities:
- To perform troubleshooting, installation/removal, modifications, maintenance and repair on designated equipment either on shore or on-board vessels
- Indent or sourcing for spares and consumables
- Responding to RFQs
- Providing service reports
- Performing administrative closure of jobs
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Period:
- 1 Year Contract (Renewable)
Location:
- Changi / Tuas
- Shuttle Service to and from Tuas Naval Base at Joo Koon MRT (AM and PM)
- Shuttle Service to and from Changi Naval Base at Simei and Tanah Merah MRT (AM and PM)
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday (8am to 5.30pm)
Salary:
- Basic Salary up to $3,800 (Depending on experience and qualification)
- Plus AWS
- VB (Subjected to individual and company performance)
Requirements:
- ITE or diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in navigation & radar equipment troubleshooting and servicing
- A good team player who is hands-on and meticulous
- Able to read and interpret schematics and tech drawings will be an advantage
- Able to perform field work on-board vessels and ship yard
- Able to carry out testing, repair and inspection of the below list of equipment will have an added advantage:
- - ECDIS System
- Radar system
- Speed log equipment
- Echo sounder equipment
- Transmitting magnetic compass system
