Position Objective

The Facilities Maintenance Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to health and safety policies while overseeing all soft services for property management. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support, advice, and ensure adherence to all Policies and Procedures for the Management of Health and Safety within the company.

• Plan, execute, and supervise facilities activities related to the effective management and maintenance of the property.

• Supervise and work with a team of outsourced technicians responsible for general maintenance tasks, repairs.

• Manage and support, where necessary for event and AV setup and logistical operations

• Review the team's work processes to optimise resource utilisation for maximum productivity.

• Ensure all facilities are in proper working order, maintaining smooth daily building operations.

• Manage and maintain security systems for all staff, contractors (card printing, card encoding, scheduling and programming as well as troubleshooting Salto, EM locks.

• Assist in coordinating with authorities for building facilities and equipment inspections to meet local safety requirements and standards.

• Obtain and prepare quotations, tender specifications, invitations for quotes/tenders, etc, along with raising a purchasing request.

• Provide technical assistance and advice on property matters.

• Investigate, analyse, and resolve reported breakdowns and faults to prevent future occurrences.

• Act as the main point of contact for responding to facility and system failures.

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of key facilities, systems, and critical areas within the company and ensure all follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.

• Ensure prompt resolution of all key responsibilities and breakdowns.

• Meet with the term contractors to ensure KPIs are being adhered to.

• Supervise contractor and facilities maintenance work during evenings and weekends as required.

• Perform hands-on repair work and basic installations when necessary.

• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure the efficient operation of the company.

• Manage teams of third-party vendors to ensure an outstanding service is delivered and maintained.

We are looking for a talented Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help design the future of dating. This individual will bring extensive experience in running large-scale data sources in the cloud and will be responsible for modernizing our data source handling and maintaining our core infrastructure and services on AWS.

This role will be based in Singapore and report directly to the CTO.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect, develop, and maintain our core infrastructure and services on AWS, focusing on high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Specific AWS services of interest include EC2, RDS, S3, ElastiCache, CloudWatch, RedShift, OpenSearch, and VPC.
  • Implement and manage continuous deployment processes to achieve seamless deployment of services with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply necessary optimizations to ensure the smooth operation of our services.
  • Develop and maintain automated tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate infrastructure builds and operational best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for production errors and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Manage and optimize network configurations to ensure secure and efficient data flow and access.
