JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide quantity take-off and cost estimation for tender and on-going projects.

* Source, liaise, and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.

* Prepare and analyse the cost comparison, develop and monitor project budgets.

* Prepare and award subcontracts for projects.

* Prepare and submit monthly progress claim, settlement of final account and variation order (VO).

* Provide assessment of sub-contractor's progress claim, issuance of payment response and final payment.

* Prepare submission documents.

* Attend site meetings on a weekly or monthly basis, as required by the project architects.

* Provide any ohter ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

* Perform all other QS-related jobs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

* 1-3 years working experience in Singapore building construction industry, preferably in main contractor firm.

* Min Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying & relevant qualifications.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point & AutoCAD.

* Written and spoken fluency in English & mandarin (in order to liaise with English & Mandarin soeaking associates and clients).

* Good interpersonal and communication skills to work individually and as a team.

* Meticulous with work and have an eye for details.

* Able to start work immediately preferred.

* 5.5 working days.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a one-stop General Insurance Solution to our customer
• Client Servicing includes attending to client's enquiries, assisting in obtaining the most competitive quotation
• Liaising with insurers for quotations, enquiries or requests from client and following up on quotations and policies
• Renewals Servicing includes following-up with clients on their renewals and coordinating with insurers accordingly
• Claims Servicing, includes advising clients, notifying insurers, following up on status till final settlement and case filing
• Set proper expectations for customers and resolving any customer issues
• Liaising with stakeholders, business partners and vendors in campaigning the product
• Develop new prospects and activities
• Client Servicing includes attending to all client's enquiries, assist in obtaining the most market competitive quotation that suits client's preference, budget and choice of benefits. • Familiarity with relevant diving regulations and industry standards.
• Knowledge of underwater construction and maintenance techniques.
• Advanced certifications in specialized diving techniques (e.g., underwater welding, inspection) are a plus.
• Experience operating underwater equipment, such as remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) or underwater cameras, is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong references from previous employers or diving instructors.

• Motivate workers such as replacing machinery/tools/equipment.
• Oversee the batching plant operations, ensuring precise chemical dosing according to the design mix.
• Maintain equipment in optimal condition to prevent delays in concrete batching.
• Uphold the quality of freshly batched concrete to prevent on-site rejection.
