Key Responsibilities

Site Visits and Inspections

Document Management

  • Upload required documents (e.g., inspection reports, incident summaries, photographs) into the designated document management system at specified intervals.

  • Support project teams in the implementation of safety improvement trials when necessary.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Familiar with Workplace Safety and Health-related legislation and its subsidiary legislation (e.g. WSH Act, Fire Safety Act and EPMA).
  • Possess high level of integrity, motivation and self-discipline to work independently
  • Able to work as a team player; providing assistance to others when required
  • Possess effective communication skills to manage stakeholders and cascade information (e.g. from client to main contractor’s management and workers)
  • Possess report writing and computer skills (e.g. Words, PowerPoint and Excel)

Safety Officer cum ECO
$5500 - $6500

Work Location: Various project sites across Singapore (report directly to site from home)
Working Hours: 5.5 days per week
Salary: Up to SGD 6,500 (Basic) + Variable Bonus (VB)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation and enforcement of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and regulations on-site.
  • Carry out regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit safety and environmental reports to management and authorities.
  • Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and training for workers and site personnel.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, subcontractors, and authorities on all WSH and environmental matters.
  • Act as ECO to monitor environmental control measures, including waste disposal, vector control, and pollution prevention.
  • Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases with follow-up action plans.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in the construction industry.
  • Registered WSHO & certified as ECO
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel to various project sites.
