Job Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for leading the frontline service operations to ensure exceptional customer experiences at Kah Motor service centres. A Production Technician must operate plant process and utility systems effectively and safety. It is expected that procedures will be followed at all times and that O&M Contractor and local regulatory compliance met in all aspects of work.
The Production Technician will facilitate routine maintenance by isolations and reinstatement, liaising with CRO.
The Production Technician is authorized to operate the process and utility systems safely and efficiently and help to prepare such plant for maintenance.
A) Processes
· Start up, Operate, Monitor and Shut Down Process and Utility systems.
· Monitor, maintain and optimize process parameters (Level, flow, temperature, pressure etc) within operating requirements.
· Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.

- Work closely with draftsmen and all sub-contractors to carry out design, supervision and installation of the entire mechanical installation, including testing and commissioning of all systems.
- Provide supervision and input to site projects with regards to site logistics, installation, safety, sub-contractors, quality, cost control and on-time reporting.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing corporate construction policies.
- Oversee the effective management of project activities to ensure timely delivery and low wastage.
- Liaise with internal department, government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers to ensure smooth operation of projects.
- Assist in timely project progress reporting to Management and attending to all site meetings.
- Ensure business objective is obtained and complies with all relevant regulation and laws.
- Attending to all site meetings with owner, consultants and main contractors on all matters.
- Monitor the project progress and deliver project to the expected safety and quality objectives and ISO standards
- Manpower allocation to maximise productivity.
Requirements
- At least a Diploma in Engineering majoring in MEP or relevant field.
- Minimum 6 years of working experience. those with more years of experience will be considerred a senior position
- Those with Construction Industry (majoring in Electrical and Building Management System) experience will be an added advantage.
- High level of initiative, independent, meticulous and able meet tight timeline.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Good command of English and computer literacy.
- Proficient in Ms Excel.
- Those with knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, Microstation and Primevera software will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work at Tuas area with transportation pickup at designated MRT stations.
