An employee allocated to this class of work is responsible for supervising the work of a custodial and domestic staff engaged in the operation and care of buildings, lawns, related equipment and systems, and for performing related maintenance tasks.

Work requires the application of semi-journeyman skills in several of the standard building trades. Assignments are received in the form of established schedules and oral or written instructions, and the employee exercises considerable discretion in determining work methods. Work is performed under general supervision and is reviewed through inspection of completed work and conferences.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans, schedules, assigns, and supervises personnel in the custodial care of large buildings; inspects work for maintenance of proper standards.

Supervises and participates in preventive maintenance and maintenance of buildings, including floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, locks, fixtures, and furniture.

Supervises and participates in the servicing, cleaning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems, electrical fixtures, and other equipment.

Inspects grounds, buildings, and equipment, noting need for repair and replacements and reports same.

Enforces building and safety regulations.

Plans and conducts a preventive maintenance program; trains new employees; maintains adequate levels of janitorial and maintenance supplies; keeps records and prepares reports.

Supervises and participates in the setting and arrangement of rooms for meetings and other special student and faculty functions.

Performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Completion of the eight school grade and experience in building custodial operations and maintenance work, including some supervisory experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials, and work standards related to the maintenance of buildings and building systems and equipment.

Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and desirable safety precautions of the work.

Ability to supervise the work of others.

Ability to identify defects in electrical and mechanical building equipment and fixtures and to determine necessary repairs.

Ability to keep records and prepare reports.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and department officials

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

- Possess a valid RTO (Tunnel) cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

• Generate new leads for the sales team by calling manufacturing contacts to introduce products and services.

Job Purpose

Responsibilities

• To lead a team and manage contractors performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) of the Escalator, Lift and Travellator equipment in Depot and SMRT stations.
• Execute all works in compliance with Work Procedures, Work Instructions, Work Safety Manual/ Procedures, Quality Procedures and Statutory Codes of Practice.
• Be the liaison officer for incident/ accident investigation by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and Land Transport Authority (LTA), coordinating on-site works and provide updates.
• Assist in Audit and Inspection for both internal and external parties.
• Mentor and impart knowledge and skills to junior staff.
• Person-In-Charge to supervise the maintenance or repair work carried out by contractors. Ensure work carried out meets the expected standards and quality.
• Attend to permit-to-work by contractors and SMRT internal departments.
• Responsible to plan for the monthly work schedule.
• Carry out the necessary data entries as required in the maintenance management system.
• Ensure all maintenance records are properly documented and filed.
• Practice safe and proper housekeeping.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in maintenance of electrical/mechanical machinery/equipment, preferably in lift/ escalator industry.

The Senior Firmware Engineer is responsible for designing and writing high quality code to support the development of the company's hardware products. The engineer will need to read schematics, read datasheets, and utilize both hardware and software debugging tools in order to complete projects. The engineer is expected to participate in the designing of solutions that meet customer needs, document the design, write clear concise code, comment code as appropriate, and create documentation outlining code functionality. All engineers are required to follow Brady’s development process which includes our iterative development process. Individuals will be Responsible for managing the development of large modules as part of a development team. Job Functions:

• Design, develop, code, and document larger modules as part of firmware projects and lead a small firmware project.
• Time estimate coding efforts for assigned deliverables.
• Work with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to develop larger firmware modules or a small complete project.
• Utilize C++ and object oriented coding techniques when developing code bases, follow coding standards and follow standard development best practices.

• Demonstrated experience with C++ language programming
• Demonstrated knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design
